Silver Sail Entertainment began in 2007-2008 as a result of a Hollywood strike. Establishing itself as a company specializing in independent and professional media content when there was none. SSE created jobs for out of work writers, actors, directors and producers, spearheading one of the first ever series for web. SSE continues to excel in independent and co-studio productions, in all formats, with-in the industry. Film. Television. Music. Web.

TANNER BEARD
Working in the industry as a writer, director, producer and actor, Tanner Beard created Silver Sail Entertainment, an all media based production company. "SSE", established during the industry strike in 2008 as a source to create professional media content, has since produced projects including: a travel show, award winning short films, award winning documentaries, commercials, music videos, two seasons of a web-based television series and feature films such as the critically acclaimed ‘HELLION’ starring Aaron Paul and Juliette Lewis, ‘THE LEGEND OF HELL'S GATE’, starring Eric Balfour, Henry Thomas, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Summer Glau, Kevin Alejandro and Lou Taylor Pucci and others.
Tanner himself has recently completed Executive Producing three films under icon Terrance Malick and producer Sarah Green, starring talent such as Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman. The third of which is a documentary, ‘VOYAGE OF TIME’, exec. produced by Brad Pitt, who also narrates the film. Currently Tanner’s next two projects are an animated feature entitled ‘FRIDGEPORT’ he co-created with Paul Khoury and is producing along side, Liam Hemsworth and Ashley Greene. His latest passion project; a new Christmas comedy ‘JUST BE CLAUS’, which Beard co-wrote with director Tim Skousen and is producing with Jeff Kalligheri and Jared Hess of "Napoleon Dynamite".
Not only a seasoned director and producer, Tanner as an actor debuted his first feature to direct and star. 'The Legend of Hell’s Gate’ currently playing on STARZ and his since played roles in ‘The Letter’ (Winona Ryder, James Franco), ‘Thunder Broke the Heavens’ (2015), ‘The Doh Dah Man’ (20150 and Robert Rodriguez’s TV series, ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’. Tanner’s latest acting endeavor is the multi-award winning up coming ‘6 Bullets to Hell’, a grindhouse spaghetti western due for release in (2016), Beard directed and co-starred in this throwback to the Clint Eastwood and Sergio Leone classics of the late 60's with cousin Russell Cummings.
TIM NEWFANG
Tim Newfang is a veteran producer with a diverse background in content production. As Vice President of Silver Sail Entertainment, Tim is overseeing the development of projects that currently include TV, a feature and a documentary film. In 2015, Tim reprised his role as Executive Producer for the Award-winning program GT Academy, an episodic TV series airing on Spike. As a spinoff to the show, Tim directed the documentary special From a Dream to Dubai, which is currently live on Hulu.
Prior to his work on GT Academy, Tim produced three seasons of the Sports Emmy™ nominated program, Replay. The TV series aired on Fox Sports — chronicling the journey of everyman athletes as they joined forces with pros including Peyton Manning, Dwayne Wade and hockey legend Gordie Howe. Tim oversaw production of the series' original theme music created by Hip-hop stars Common, Lupe Fiasco, Jennifer Hudson and No I.D. Tim directed the music video for the track.
For the past decade, Tim has overseen production on numerous multi-million dollar campaigns for TBWA Los Angeles. His clients include Gatorade, Netflix, Nissan, Infiniti and Pepsi. He has worked closely with athletes such as Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Cam Newton, Usain Bolt and Serena Williams. He's also worked with recording artists Lil' Wayne, Nicki Minaj, RZA and Common. He leads TBWA’s Branded Entertainment team, specializing in story telling and integrating brands into content. His work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The Clios, The Andy's and The One Show. For Gatorade, Tim directed the emotional web series, Become, featuring athletes LaDanian Tomlinson, Kevin Durant, Mia Hamm and their mothers.
TOMIK MANSOORI
Tomik Mansoori has made the “Inc. 500 List of Fastest-Growing Companies” in America as the VP of Night Vision Entertainment with clients including FOX Home Entertainment, Seth MacFarlane, Adidas, and Warner Brothers Interactive.
In 2014, Tomik left the events world to pursue his dream of making films. As VP of Belligerent Seal, his first Paramount feature, The Stars Are Already Dead, is in post-production as well as a controversial thriller titled Del Playa. Tomik's next film, currently in development, stars Val Kilmer, Michael Chiklis and Mira Sorvino.
